The Oak Room’s lobster-and-artichoke cocktail

One clean crustacean

We love our lobster in virtually any form, but we admit to being partial to dishes that don’t require us to don bibs and end our meal scrubbing our sticky hands with a Wet-Nap. Lucky for us, then, that we discovered the lobster-and-artichoke cocktail at the Fairmont Copley Plaza’s regal Oak Room. Chef Jeremy Langemann’s decadent appetizer features the meat of a one-and-a-half-pound lobster piled high in a hollowed-out artichoke and served with a remoulade sauce. A lobster served in an edible bowl made from one of our favorite vegetables? Our favorite crustacean just got even better.

Available for market price at the Oak Room, Fairmont Copley Plaza, 138 St. James Avenue, Boston | 617.267.5300
