Pressley Keeps Rolling

Ayanna Pressley pulled in another $10k in the first half of July, and has more fundraisers coming up -- plus a starring role in this feature article coming in Sunday's Globe. Yeah, and some nice endorsements. Some Hub politicos have begun privately referring to her as Elvis. (Get it, 'cause her name is Pressley, and she's a superstar...)

Her total fundraising now totals $55,572, just barely behind Felix Arroyo ($56,320) for most among the non-incumbents. Andrew Kenneally has also now passed the $50k mark -- at the moment, those are the only three challengers who can send a decent city-wide mailing.

But there are some signs of life elsewhere. Tito Jackson, who had his kickoff event at the start of the month, was the top raiser for the first half of July, with $11,131. Tomas Gonzalez kept plugging away, adding more than $5000. Hiep Nguyen and Jean-Claude Sanon each made a little headway.
