One of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s most popular and beloved musicals, South Pacific, stops in town for just one week, courtesy of Broadway in Boston, on a national tour based on the 2008 Tony-winning revival. The story of the US Navy members and their tumultuous, unlikely romances with residents of the tropical island on which they’re stationed during WWII stars Marcelo Guzzo and Katie Reid.

Broadway Across America brings the hit revival of Rodgers & Hammerstein’s musical about cross-cultural and interracial romances, set during World War II on a South Pacific island. Bartlett Sher directs the cast, which stars Katie Reid as US Navy nurse Nellie Forbush and Marcelo Guzzo as her paramour Emile.
