Warren Buffett and Obama related

Your useless celebrity/presidential trivia bit of the day/week:

While they certainly don't look much alike, billionaire Warren Buffett and President Barack Obama are indeed related, reads Ancestry.com. According to the genealogical-tracing site, Buffett and Obama are seventh cousins, three times removed. Come to think of it, at least in these pictures, their noses really do look similiar!

These two very famous, not to mention powerful, men's family trees converge at a 17th-century Frenchman named Mareen Duvall, Obama’s ninth great-grandfather and Buffett’s sixth great-grandfather. Duvall was an indentured servant that became a land owner in Maryland in 1659. A planter, merchant, and carpenter, Duvall was considered to be a country gentleman, according to the site, the New York Times also reports Duvall was a slave-owner.

According to Ancestry.com, Brad Pitt and the President are also ninth cousins. That's what you call good genes!
