[Halloween] See all these films: The 11th Annual Halloween Horror Movie Marathon @ the Coolidge

Here's a chance to get your horror quota filled before the big Halloween rush on Monday, as the Coolidge Corner Theatre presents its 11th Annual Halloween Horror Movie Marathon. They begin the 12 hour endurance test with two of the best. Suspiria (1977) by Dario Argento might be the maestro's scariest; it's the tale of a coven of witches in a ballet school and it is visually glorious and utterly disgusting. Next is the relative comic relief of Alien screenwriter Dan O'Bannon's unofficial sequel to George Romero's Night of the Living Dead (1968), The Return of the Living Dead (1985). And five more features to follow! The Coolidge is at 290 Harvard St, Brookline | Saturday, October 29 @ midnight | $20 | 617.734.2500 or coolidge.org.
