Primed 4 SXSW ’12

BOY FRIEND | Listen: "Bad Dreams" | After Christa Palazzolo and Sarah Brown left Sleep Over in 2010, they decided to drop the infinity logo nonsense but keep their former band's ambient, pillow-pop yearnings. Last month's Egyptian Wrinkle LP (Hell, Yes! Records) is a daydream of a disc and with a base of Austin, Boy Friend are one of the few bands who should feel at home at SXSW. They play Great Scott on March 7 with Young Prisms.
