The High Ceilings' foundations are Max Heinegg's distinctive voice and Chris Blackburn's swirling guitar textures. Since the two started playing together in 1999, their profile in the Northeast indie circuit has steadily grown - now with a resume that boasts three studio albums, commercial radio exposure, an appearance at the WBCN Rumble and an MTV soundtrack deal.
Now with the rock-solid rhythm section of Ron Riley (bass), Rich Goldman (keyboard) and John Farrell (drums), The High Ceilings' latest LP The Edge Is as Safe as the Ground is a critics' favorite.
