MORE ABOUT XYGOATZ
This pop rock outfit is the brainchild of former Instant Magazine editor, Joanie Pfister. After writing a volume of material, she assembled a band consisting of scene veteran Carolyn Corella (x-Curious Ritual & One of Us) and newcomers Jose Bernardo on guitar and Wes Livingston on drums. The CD was recorded and produced at Hummel Vision with Joel Simches with a release date of 5/26/01 at TT the Bears Place in Cambridge. Although the young men of the band have parted ways to seek their fortunes in cover bands and the world, the pop continues. The band has appeared live on WMFO, WZBC, and WMWM. In June, the new CD charted at number 3 on WMFO. The band has also received favorable press in the Noise, Boston Sound Check Magazine, and Inmusicwetrust The CD is being distributed throughout New England and in NYC by Joanie and is available online at radioboston.com. This music is for fans of Veruca Salt and the Go Gos. Pure fun.
