MORE ABOUT WOODY
Woody was formed in Buffalo, NY in the summer of 1993. Locked in the middle of the frozen Tundra (even though it was August) and recovering from four Superbowl losses, Woody was born mostly out of frustration and boredom.
Woody has appeared as an opening act in support of The Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Ween, Fat Joe, The Gandharvas, The Violent Femmes and Too Much Joy. Woody has won the "Jagermeister Rocks Best Unsigned Band" competition, was nominated in the "Best Rock Band" category in the Buffalo Music Awards, and has earned slots in various showcases throughout the Northeast.
Woody is a consistent top-charting band on popular regional and national independent music web sites, such as IUMA, mp3.Boston.com, Garageband.com and Soundclick.
