From the depths of the murky netherworld that is the Boston music scene, Willie T & Doctor X emerge as a breath of fresh air, and a welcome antidote to the angry thrash din that has been in vogue in Boston for so long. They've cut their teeth on the club and college circuit throughout the Northeastern United States, dishing out their distinctive brand of pop/folk and rhythm & blues. Willie T's deep, resonant vocal style, and masterful self-accompaniment on acoustic and electric guitars is backed by the soulful blues harmonica, and gutsy vocals of Doctor X.
