Ian Lacombe has been the frontman/primary songwriter of Route .44 since it's inception. He and the band have worked tirelessly to create a unique sound, from many a varied influence. Ian's voice is an integral part of that. He has been making music since his teens, initially as a bass player, with various original bands. It was a conversation with Jon (Crawlin Snake) Mac RIP, that convinced Ian to drop the title of bassplayer and accept the role of songwriter. Whether it be Route .44 or on his own, he is content to make music for and from his soul.
