the secret weekend is producers j.hjort and Eric St.Pierre. Together Hjort and St.Pierre have been making dancefloor orientated music since the mid 90's. The duo are the founding members of the now defunct, ambitious live house/downtempo collective slowing room who over seven years recorded five full length albums. Both artist make music individually as well. St.Pierre as the downtempo/soundtrack act Late Night Clouds Project, and Hjort simply as j.hjort, producing house and techno. Hjort is also the founder of the brick.city.media record label which recently merged with Milled Pavement records. the secret weekend is based out of the small seaside city of Portland, ME.
