MORE ABOUT THE WELL
The Well is reggae-inspired hard hitting dance music. Since their birth in 2000, they have been part of Bostons rapidly growing music scene. Their newly released album entitled, "Progress", captures the bands journey into a Dub/Rock sound, and is now available to purchase on I Tunes and CD Baby. As a live band, they always keep the dance floor moving. Vocalist Jimmy Trapella captivates audiences with his charismatic presence while his lyrics enlighten people with positivity. The musics driving force is the drum and bass. This, combined with melodies on the keys and guitar, knits the whole band together. The Well has shared the stage with bands such as The Slip, Gregory Isaacs, and Burning Spear. They have also performed live numerous times on 88.9FM WERS Emerson College Radio and are frequently featured on their premier reggae program Rockers. They were winners of Emersons 2004 Live Music Week competition. The Wells extensive touring of the northeast has been greeted with an overwhelming response.
