MORE ABOUT EARTHSOUND
Earthsound is a new multi-media ensemble led by bassist Jason Davis that features a unique mix of world music and original jazz. Reflecting Jason's interest in the natural world and environmental issues, Earthsound performs improvised music along with natural sounds recorded in locales such as the Monteverde Cloud Forest of Costa Rica. Jason is joined by an all-star roster of musicians including Brazilian flautist Fernando Brandão, Israeli pianist Gilad Barkan, and Peruvian percussionist Jorge Perez-Albela. Earthsound has performed at various venues around Boston and has been featured in a recent Boston Globe article.
