MORE ABOUT RAVAGE

Ravage is a five-piece band hailing from Malden, Massachusetts, falling under the influences of such bands as Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, NWOBHM (New wave of British heavy metal) bands, Bay Area thrash bands, and European power metal. Ravage combines the styles of traditional heavy metal, European power metal, and thrash to create a high-energy experience, which thrills any audience. Vocalist Alec "Al Ravage" Firicano and his brother, guitarist Eli Firicano formed the band back in the fall of 1995. After a long period of musical development and numerous lineup changes through the years, the band's lineup was finally rounded out in 2001 with the addition of second lead guitarist Nick Izzo, bassist Jay Alonzo, and drummer John LoConte in the fall of 2001. Ravage has a growing young following in the Boston area as well as in their hometown of Malden. Ravage has played well-known venues around Massachusetts opening for national acts such as Lizzy Borden and established local acts such as Believer. With their new 4 song demo completed they will look to branch out into the Boston club circuit, seek label interest and play regularly. With the dual lead guitar attack of Eli Firicano and Nick Izzo, Jay Alonzo`s pounding bass lines, John LoConte`s solid beats and crushing double-bass drum attack, Alec Firicano`s vocal ability and pointed lyrics, and the band`s irresistibly catchy, heavy, and yet highly melodic musical compositions the band`s potential is limitless. Ravage is known for wowing their audience with a highly energetic and dramatic performance every time.
