MORE ABOUT ELIZA AUSTIN
Music has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. Before I could talk I was humming the melody to 'She Drives Me Crazy' (Fine Young Cannibals) and performing on top of my grandmothers coffee table. Third grade I was reading notes, playing the violin and country music consumed my boombox. By 12 I was learning the keyboard and began a new challenge ... singing in church! I belted out an old Clay Crosse song with shaky knees and a pounding chest and haven't stopped singing since. I added the guitar a few years later and my style has evolved into a christian folk/medium rock. I attended the Honor Academy, a Christian School in Texas for a year, where I was accepted to be one of the main worship leaders on campus. While participating at the school I was surrounded by some incredible musicians. Through long tedious practice hours, my musical growth flourished. Now I'm 19 living back home in Wareham, MA continuing to perform, record and write hoping that someday soon I can create music full-time.
