MORE ABOUT ORBITING RILEY
Orbiting Riley formed in the fall of 2001 when five guys got together and discovered they all loved early ninties grunge music. Lead singer Drew Lawrence joined up with guitarist Edo and Zac, drummer Joe and bassist Loudon. All members of Orbiting Riley has been musicans in the Boston scene over the past three years in various projects. They have written an album's worth of material since early September and has just completed a demo CD at Renaissance studios. A full-length album is in the works as well as MP3 versions of the band's songs to be featured on Boston.com and Radio Boston. Orbiting Riley is an energetic rock driven band. The band also enjoys turning down for an acoustic number from time to time. The lyrics celebrate being alive, poke fun at greedy society and shed light on personal struggles to find peace of mind.
