we take acoustic and electric guitars, hand bells, sometimes a harp, clinking jars, singing bowls, tuning forks, recorders, a flute and fife, and technologies - pedals, keyboards, secret technologies, too - and we use them to play "islands" of composed songs; placing echoing, looping, egret-esque voices and loops atop the interweaving guitar and harp lines. eventually these islands recede under the onrushing tides of delay-fed storms, leaving us either bobbing rhythmically or tossed about in seas of sonic improvisation and double drumming and waves as big as we can make.
