MORE ABOUT LOS HIJOS UNICOS
Los Hijos Unicos are a band of vagrant minstrels and wretched buskers who sing about the American dream. We are from beautiful Massachusetts, the seat of American democracy. We play mutant country, psychedelic folk, and alien blues, trying simultaneously to follow in the grand traditions of Woody Guthrie, Hank Williams, Muddy Waters, Allen Ginsberg, and Syd Barrett.
We are currently working on releasing our album, ...and the lights go out, recorded in our old apartment in North Adams, MA. We will be playing at P.A.'s Lounge on August 3, at the Abbey Lounge on August 30, and at the Skybar on October 4.
