The Kings of Nuthin' are eight guys from Boston, Massachusetts... three parts stripped-down original rock 'n roll drawing on both the frantic R&B of the Fifties, two parts from the punk legacy that followed, and proud of it
Formed in 1998, the Kings of Nuthin' have played every type of venue imaginable with bands ranging from traditional rockabilly acts such as Big Sandy and his Fly- Rite Boys to well known ska favorites the Mighty Mighty Bosstones. They have also played the first ever Psychobilly Rumble in New Jersey and the first annual Hot Rod & Tattoo convention in New York. They can usually be found playing a show in Boston with local punk, hardcore or rockabilly bands.
No matter what kind of show the guys are playing, they always win the crowd and make diehard fans. Is it because the music is really great and they are excellent musicians? Is it because of Necro? Or is it because they always end up setting something or someone on fire?
