MORE ABOUT KATRIN
Katrin is a soulful singer/songwriter from Boston who writes passionate songs, both melodic and energetic. Since 1994 she has been performing and recording original music with various bands around Boston. Some of the venues she has played include: Mama Kin Music Hall, The Middle East, Bill's Bar, The Kendall Cafe and the Attic.
Katrin was also a finalist in the regional Folk Off singer/songwriter contest held at the Cantab Lounge in Cambridge. Katrin has been well recieved by audiences both as a solo artist and gigging with her rock band. Her anticipated full-length CD is currently being recorded.
In September of 1999, singer/songwriter Katrin Roush, bassist Kevin Marini, and drummer Pete Abdou performed their first show together under the name Katrin. Since then, the response from audiences and musicians alike has been overwhelming and inspiring. The group formed with the goal of recording a CD full of songs written by Katrin Roush. The union of the three hard working musicians has feuled Katrin's songwriting and has hurled the band into a steady stream of shows across the Northeast.
