MORE ABOUT VERBANA DARVELL

Blaine Wilkinson - Vocals / Guitar
Brad Cottman - Drums
Kevin Tanner - Bass
Tory Daines - Violin

Verbana Darvell a 4 piece frenzied rock band with throat strangling screams interspersed by a chaotic energy touching the crowd on stage and off. - "Bob Gulla, Providence Phoenix"

Putting full efforts into the band comes easy for singer/song writer Blaine Wilkinson and drummer Brad Cottman because they have decided to contribute all of their time to the band. Kevin Tanner (bassist) as well as Tory Daines (violinist) learning the songs Blaine and Brad have created and adding their own taste and style. Brad and Blaine feel as if they have this new secret formula which is about to explode in everyone's face. Those that live in the East coast have had a taste of Verbana and seem starved for more. In winter of 2005 the band performed at the XMG Major Label showcase @ the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston MA and got good reviews from Sony and Epic Records. Verbana Darvell has had some help through their journey; recording an album in 2006 with singer/song writer Andy Jackson from Hot Rod Circuit (Immortal Records) in Alabama, shortly after the band shot there first Music Video for "Slice The Fancy" by Matt Bouressa. Slice The Fancy created a buzz with its raw simplicity and its evil twist kept the crowd screaming along at shows and won there way onto the 2006 VANS WARPED TOUR in MA! In 2007 the band recorded two demos with Mike Poorman (Piebald / Converge / TSunami Bomb) and caught the attention of AP Magazine and then featured Verbana in the January 2008 issue as an “Unsigned Band Of The Month”. The band went on to shooting a much more produced Music Video for there single "Mover" by Adam Guindon of Withoutwater Productions. The album “Run Automatic Orange” that Andy Jackson produced can still be found in many Newbury Comic Record Stores in the Northeast selling out on a regular basis.
Verbana Darvell has shared the stage with bands such as -
Chiodos, The Von Bondies, Scary Kids Scaring Kids, Haste The Day, Gym Class Heroes, Hit The Lights, Vans Warped Tour 06, Emanuel, Over It, The Junior Varsity, The Forecast, The Matches, ScarceDiamond J' And The Rough, The Number 12 Looks Like You, The Blackout Pact, Fear Before The March Of Flames, Heavy Heavy Low Low, Click Five, Ligeia, Project 86, See You Next Tuesday, Lorene Drive, The Jonbenet, Vanna, Adair, 3
