Former members of 8-Ball Shifter and Sexploitation unite to form the dark, aggressive, energetic, and intense sounds of Headshot. Guitarist, Michael Tauber, and drummer, Gabe Luxton, originated from the mid-90's Boston-based, psychedelic freak-show, Sexploitation. Playing bass guitar for this intense new arrival to the Boston Music scene is Jim Flanagan, formerly of 8-Ball Shifter. Completing this dynamic quartet is lead vocalist Micah Banks.
Headshot has been together since August '99 and recorded an EP within four months after forming.The self titled EP was well received in and around Boston landing them venues as well as airplay on WBCN, WFNX and WAAF. They have also received airplay in about fourteen states reaching the College Music Journal's charts . The EP recorded by Andrew Schneider at New Alliance in Boston set the foundation for the more intense stlye of music that they play today. Headshot is planning to record their follow-up LP this winter.
