Jeff has been active at various levels in the greater Boston music scene since 1978, performing with acts as diverse as Edgar Winter, Johnny A, John Cafferty, NRBQ, Jon Butcher, Robin Lane, Charlie Farren, Mission Of Burma, Human Sexual Response, Rick Berlin, The Real Kids, City Thrills, The Nervous Eaters, The Rings,The Stompers, The Fools and Harlequin.
Jeff's music might best be described as an inspired update of 60’s groups like The Kinks and The Lovin’ Spoonful with a little Beck, Cake, Waits and Dylan mixed in. Jeff and his trio, Bongo Poets, released their debut album ‘Ordinary Guise’ in November of 2001.
In 2005, Jeff released “Angst Cretin”, which features the drumming of Kim Miller as well as the talents of Rob Carlson, Robb Millett, Sam Simcoe, Kris Lucander, Tom Ruckey, Zack Root and David Schlier. In 2004, Jeff made available the first official release of “The Spirit Of ‘67” finished late in 1998.It features performances by Kim Miller, Tom Ruckey, John Vedoe, Kris Lucander, Zack Chadwick, Zack Root, Adrienne Root and Rebecca Root as well as the wonderful engineering of John Little.
