Songwriter Geoff Earley is known for writing all the time, literally (6 albums in the last 5 years). An obvious lover of many different styles, the Geoffro sound has taken a unique shape involving elements of rock, hip-hop, reggae, and even jazz. Earley's music continues to grow as he takes in all his surroundings and molds his favorite styles of music into one. Originally from Cleveland, Earley has been playing the piano since age 6, and picked up the guitar at 12. Through much experimentation, Earley has found a happy medium in his own sound and has learned to make it appeal to a broad audience, without sacrificing his strong musicality. After moving to Boston in 2001, Earley hooked up with other talented musicians forming the Geoffro Cause, and has been making a name for himself in the New England area ever since. During a freestyle session at a party, in pleased reaction to Earley's flow, someone yelled out "yo that's Geoffro" and the name stuck (Earley has a very noticeable fro). After getting to know the music, one will feel the energy and soul of Geoffro, and then never be the same.
