MORE ABOUT MAKING IT RIGHT
Making It Right (MIR) is infectious piano punk. Hailing from Boston MA, they've shared their danceable and exciting brand of music alongside such bands as Piebald, The Rocket Summer, Hidden In Plain View, Senses Fail, The Lost City Angels, and Read Yellow.
Their debut full length, "I'm Sorry You're Uncomfortable," mastered by Nick Zampiello (Piebald, Cave In) is scheduled for release on June 17, 2005. The new CD has a powerful yet upbeat feel, bursting with thick guitars, duel lead vocals, and memorable keyboard compositions. With lyrics that run the gamut from love and loss, to war and mustaches, "I'm Sorry You're Uncomfortable" shines as the epitome of quality music making for these local legends.
Through all of this, MIR has been able to display their unique ability to present significant meaning though songs that stick like Velcro to the hearts and brains of their listeners. "It makes you want to sing right along."
Making It Right artfully mixes these genres without leaving a sappy aftertaste. Their music is high energy, thoughtful, and original, but above all else, it's fun. Their shows are a refreshing break from what many people have come to expect. "An unsigned band you need to hear."
