Service is in no hurry at Johnny's, as if someone were maintaining a filibuster in the kitchen, but it is friendly and professional. The whole experience is pretty pleasant, and if it's truly an indicator of Republican life, I am looking forward to it. Market-based thinking might leave you eating in a strip mall, but with an easy walk across the parking lot to shop or see a movie, it's almost like the small-town America Republicans nostalgize and decimate simultaneously. Ask for the garden table, peer out at the parking lot, and ponder our future yourself.
