Global Voices Festival
Brattle Theatre
Every once in a while we need to be reminded that there's a
whole world out there and it's falling apart. Cue the United Nations
Association of Greater Boston's annual Global
Voices Festival, which this year takes place October 8-11 at the Harvard
Kennedy School, the Harvard Film Archive, and the Brattle Theatre. It opens
today at the HFA with a 6 pm reception followed by a 7:30 pm screening of Stephanie
Soechtig's Tapped, a documentary about the water crisis in the United States.
The director will be available after the screening for a discussion, in the Carpenter Center, 24 Quincy St, Cambridge
