The Lowdown |
The public museum offers exhibition galleries that draw from the collections of Harvards Botanical Museum, Mineralogical Museum, and Museum of Comparative Zoology. Exhibition highlights include the Glass Flowers collection (Dont lean on the glass cases!), the historic Hall of Mammals, Romer Hall of Vertebrate Paleontology, and comprehensive displays of minerals, rocks, ores, and meteorites. Plus room upon room of dusty stuffed animals from around the world. Open daily from 9 am-5 pm. Admission $9 adults, $7 seniors and non-Harvard students with ID, and $6 children 3-18. Free to Massachusetts residents on Wed from 3-5 pm and Sun 9 am-noon.
