The Awesome Foundation is a worldwide network of people devoted to forwarding the interest of awesomeness in the universe. What, you say? You do that on a daily basis? Well, these guys support awesomeness by providing grants to causes that move the world in a positive direction. One such worthy cause is local artist Maria Molteni’s campaign to restore use of abandoned basketball courts by crafting DIY nets intended to be both functional and public works of artistic self-expression. The Boston Chapter awarded Molteni a grant for her efforts. They’ll be celebrating (awesomely, of course) at an open-to-the-public party.
