SPACE Gallery

On those nights no rock band can move us, we go to SPACE anyway. The gallery displays, literally, why it's the premier ideas venue in town, no matter the format. In addition to hosting futuristic percussion installations, art vans equipped with sails, and a city-wide block party, SPACE screened more than 50 films and shorts this year, all the while keenly aware of the diversity of interests of its patrons. From the SCOPE Visual Arts Film Series, the docs on 20th century rock pariahs, and local showcases; keep the films coming. And maybe this year: popcorn?
