When the windchill factor is howling below zero and you've been wearing your Bean boots for two months straight, it's hard to imagine grabbing a blanket and cuddling up under the stars, unless you're at the Southworth Planetarium at USM. Most likely your date has never been, and the suggestion will make you seem interesting, creative, hip, and smart. Other perks include: gender-neutral, family-friendly programming, reasonable ticket prices and a location off the beaten path. The Planetarium might not have the seating or surround sound like a Cinemagic, but on most Friday nights there is usually a show about planets or black holes.
