Pandora LaCasse’s holiday lights
First displayed in Tommy’s Park more than a decade ago, and now a citywide seasonal beacon, Pandora LaCasse’s light sculptures are a welcome annual display. In Deering Oaks Park and along Congress Street, her bulbs and tree wrappings (she strings the lights on the Monument Square Christmas tree, too) are bright and cheery — and in a city where the grays of winter can last just a bit too long, LaCasse’s lights color our world.
