Jill Barkley
Like any activist worth her weight in petition signatures, Jill Barkley is ubiquitous, passionate, and smart. So far, she’s put her energies toward women’s, queer/GLBT, and domestic-violence issues, but now that she’s running for a seat in the state Legislature, she’s broadening her issue base to include economic and community-development concerns. We can only assume that her efforts in the State House would be just as hopeful, inclusive, and effective.
