A little more than a year ago, Joe Ricchio wrote this at portlandfoodcoma.blogspot.com: “This is a blog dedicated to people who love to eat and drink. Especially those of us who like it so much that we don’t stop until we’re feeling sick and blacked out.” He has not strayed from that dedication; if anything, he’s become more committed to it, chronicling debaucherous nights of wine consumption, culinary experimentation, and Deathmatch extravagance. While nearly every entry has us clutching our stomachs and shaking our heads, Ricchio’s description of his “Buddha jumps over the wall” birthday feast is particularly gripping.
