El Rayo Taqueria

It takes a good burrito, fish taco, and margarita to overcome some of El Rayo’s inherent limitations — basically that it used to be a gas station with a parking lot overlooking the Casco Bay Bridge — and boy do Cheryl Lewis and company serve them up, making their unlikely confines positively sunny inside and out. We’re partial to the pollo burrito, its meat rubbed in cumin and citrus juices, stuffed with guac and that smoky, chipotle-in-adobo spiced salsa.
