Allagash Brewing

Allagash served up their first beer 15 years ago, and it’s been getting better since. They operate in Belgian-style beers, both traditional and less so. Part of the wheat-beer magic results from their process of bottle-conditioning: right before the beer hits the bottle, they add dose it up with some extra yeast and Candi sugar. A new fermentation process starts, adding that extra-carbonated kick, and yielding that specific Belgian taste.
