Bangkok Thai expanded its local empire this year (with double-Best winner Green Elephant), but the original Congress Street institution — quick take-out, friendly dine-in, consistent grub, one of Portland’s best window seats — hasn’t lost any diners. A week without their drunken noodle is a week hardly worth living.
