Some people say the food at Green Elephant tastes “too healthy” — but obviously, Portland is ready for some lighter fare. Despite the health factor (brown rice accompanies every meal), the Asian-inspired dishes are hearty and well-seasoned (the appetizer spring rolls are a fave), and it’s a welcome change to eat stir-fries that leave us feeling pleasantly sated, rather than uncomfortably full. The sleek interior and friendly staff round out Portland’s favorite new dining experience.
