Though chef Abby Harmon has moved on to her own place, there is still nothing quite like  Street & Co. when it comes to seafood in Portland. Voters said the fish is the “freshest,” and “properly cooked.” My first encounter with the light, buttery, barely battered sole francais redefined my idea of great fish. The regular menu is spare and elegant, and the experimental “tastes” are always intriguing. A friend from Boston has been talking for years about a pasta special with anchovies she ordered once.
