Best Best Middle Eastern Restaurant

Persian food, done by co-owners Shahnaz Mahager and Dan Eldert at  Shahnaz Persian Grille , has big flavor. Grilled kabobs are most popular, with your choice of sirloin beef, marinated steak, chicken, or filet of lamb. It’s cheap (most meals are under $10), “authentic,” and has a welcoming atmosphere, with a small waterfall in the restaurant. Lunch specials offer a great bang for your buck (only $6.95) — try one with pomegranate sauce, or a favorite: “Ghormeh Sabzi,” a mixture of sautéed chunks of sirloin beef, kidney beans, dried lime, and herbs served over rice.
