Best Best Eating on the Go
While it might be hard to walk and eat one of Granny’s Burritos namesake rolled food packets, or their quesadillas, it sure is an excellent place to pop in, grab a quick bite, and head back out again, right into the heart of the Old Port. (While they’re great for eating fast, we wouldn’t recommend eating them actually on the go — they’re so full of yumminess that it’s likely to spill on you if you don’t wear a smock.)
Voters said the food has “great taste and value,” and is “cheap, quick, and good.” It’s perfect for a super-speedy meal at the picnic tables downstairs, with counter service and self-serve fridges for drinks. And it’s a good spot to get a quick, but slightly-more-leisurely, bite upstairs, where table service also comes with alcohol service and live music in the evenings that will make you want to linger.
