Best Music Poll 2013

By PHOENIX STAFF  |  December 12, 2013

It’s hard to say where Kilcollins are the “house band” — or rather, it might be easier to say where they’re not. With regular gigs at the Oasis, Ri Ra, and Bull Feeney’s in Portland, the Brunswick in Old Orchard Beach, the Kerrymen Pub in Saco, and Federal Jack’s in Kennebunk, the four-piece cover/rock band spread their music widely. They put a rootsy gloss on classics and many old favorites that everyone knows the words to, but don’t frequently get club play. If Kilcollins are in the house, it’s sure to be a fun night. |

Runners-up: Hello Newman, Jaw Gems, North of Nashville
