Five Courses of Fun

January 31
By TAMARA WIEDER  |  January 25, 2006

Who needs the Super Bowl? Our Patriots may have disappointed us, but there shouldn’t be anything dismaying about Supper Bowl I: Five Courses of Football, Food, and Fun. The event, held on January 31 at the TD Banknorth Garden (100 Legends Way, Boston), features celebrity chefs such as Rich Vellante from Legal Sea Foods and Jeff Fournier from the Metropolitan Club, along with appearances from former New England Patriots like Steve Grogan, Andre Tippett, and Tim Fox. The evening begins with a cocktail reception at 6 pm, followed by a five-course dinner. The cost is $200 per person, $700 for a table for four, or $1250 for a table for eight; all net proceeds benefit the Sports Museum. Call 617.624.1233 for tickets.
