The US Government is up to something fishy

When local college student Stephanie Bakay took a student-group-abroad trip to Russia in May, she brazenly overbought beluga caviar, flying back into Logan with four jars even though the legal limit is two. Bakay was detained briefly at customs and released — but Customs kept all of her caviar. Following standard procedure, the United States Government filed suit, in USAv Four Jars of Beluga Sturgeon Caviar, to claim the impounded goods. But Bakay isn’t giving up so easily. She has submitted an answer — attached here — on behalf of the caviar, asking to get back at least two jars, if not all four.

No word on whether the US Attorney’s Office will attempt to depose the caviar. Party at Stephanie’s if she wins.
