IN CONTEXT | Still beating the drum on the Bates Dance Festival. This week, the estimable troupe BEBE MILLER COMPANY put on a show called A History, a fluid assemblage of media installations, texts, and “refined improvisation.” Miller, a black woman born in Brooklyn in 1950, is a choreographer of considerable renown, and A History looks to be a sensational exploration of vanguard dance and interpersonal art themes. Friday and Saturday at the Schaeffer Theater in Lewiston. 7:30 pm; $12-25. 207.785.6161.
