"Sound, Recording, & the Warhol Sensorium"
Another awesome talk at Bowdoin: audio archaeologist and professor Gus Stadler speaks on “SOUND, RECORDING, AND THE WARHOL SENSORIUM” at 4 pm. Stadler teaches English and American Studies at Haverford College, and in his free time is a rigorous tinkerer in the realms of sound technology. He gets deep into the work of Andy Warhol, who used cassettes liberally in his everyday life, among other intersections of tape and art. Visual Arts Center, Beam Classroom at the college in Brunswick.
