Port City hits the mark again with INSPECTAH DECK, the original Wu-Tang rapper who releases a new LP, The Rebellion, this spring. Compared to the outrageous, hi-profile public personae of ODB, Ghostface, RZA, and the others, Inspectah Deck was the quiet and sensible one — it may have cost him in individual record sales, but probably kept the Wu-Tang Clan itself from imploding before it did. Now 41, he plays PCMH, nominated for Best Hip Hop Venue in our 2012 readers’ poll, at 9 pm. $15-30.
