Summary: Former member of Taking Back Sunday , Fred Mascherino is now playing solo as The Color Fred . He has recently released his debut, Bend To Break which was recorded with the help of legendary producer Lou Giordano ( Sugar , Paul Westerberg , Sunny Day Real Estate ). While The Color Fred had been in Mascherino’s plans since before he joined Taking Back Sunday, his solo project was put on the backburner with that band’s meteoric rise.
