Summary: There are two artists with the name Shad: a European DJ/producer creating world fusion music who released the albums Energy and Zaman and a Hip Hop artist from Canada. ---- The Canadian Shad (Shadrach Kabango) has emphatically emerged as one of Canada’s most gifted young hip-hop artists. After garnering groundbreaking reviews on his independent 2005 debut When This is Over, Shad seems to have effortlessly leaped over huge expectations with his 2007 sophomore release, The Old Prince.
